Worse than death

He had such quiet eyes
she did not realize
they were two pools of lies
layered with the thinnest ice
to her those quiet eyes
were breathing desolate sighs
imploring her to be nice
and to render him paradise
if only she had been wise
and had listened to the advice
never to compromise
with pleasure-seeking guys
she'd be free from the hows and the whys
now's here a bit of advice
be sure that nice really means nice
then you'll never be losing at dice
though you may lose your heart
once or twice

The above poems are poems that we have studied when we were 13 years old and when we were 17 years old. When we were in Form 1, we talked about how life was boring and that death was preferable. At least, that was how Macbeth saw it. And then, people said that as we grow older, we will be able to handle the bigger, more complicated problems in life. So, in Form 5, we learned about how guys are dangerous. And that girls were easily fooled. So here we can conclude that cheating men are a lot more dangerous than playing with death. The ministry have figured that out. That is why they gave us these poems for us to study. However, have you figured that out yet girls??
